Organic Lavender Flowers

Lavender flowers are native to the Mediteranean and have been used for centuries for both culinary and healing purposes. They are a natural antiseptic to help treat wounds and rashes, which is why we use an infusion of organic lavender flowers in our Bottom Balm. The flowers are also in our Herbal and Flower Baths to aid in relaxtion and stress relief.

Organic Calendula

Calendula, also known as pot marigold, is an edible flower. It is known to be antiviral and anti-inflammatory. Used topically it can help soothe irritated skin and aid in wound healing. We infuse organic oil with organic calendula petals for use in our Bottom Balm and Nipple Cream to help treat and prevent infection. It is also the first ingredient in all our herbal baths.

Organic Skincare in Canada

The new laws came in that changed organic food labeling (must be 95% organic) and it would be nice to see something similar in the long run for skincare as well. As a company we try to source out certified organic ingredients as much as possible, and balance that with what we can purchase locally.
